The mobile web is full of sites for finding and booking online a hotel everywhere in the future. In this crowd it can be difficult to determine which one is reliable, and which one has just been made tp get your personal data or, even worse, to steal your credit card data. A good alternative is to search directly in web sites managed by hotel networks; you will not have the benefit of a full comparison of prices, but you get immediate access to hotel data, prices and availability.
If you are flying to Israel, a good choice is Isrotel. The mobile web version of the site is in Hebrew, English and Russian (probably due to the high number of Russian immigrants to Israel). You can select the region of your choice, the hotel, and get quick infos and small pictures. Online reservations are not available, but  you can be directed to the reservation centre of the hotel network.

We could not find the English version of the mobile site of the German railways (Deutsche Bahn, or DB), so you'll have to guess the translation of German words. However it is not difficult: "routenplaner" is "route planner", "von" means "from", and "nach" is "to".
The mobile web site of Deutsche Bahn is, however, an important resource for travellers in Europe. Its datyabase contains train schedules of most European railways. Therefore you can plan your journey by train from Berlin to Naples (and probably discovers that it could be better to take a low-cost flight).
The Deutsche Bahn mobile web site is an excellent example of a useful service, adapted to a small screen size.
